Stacy Rector is a freelance graphic designer. She has owned Fluid Graphic Design, LLC since 2004 and has worked professionally as a graphic designer since 1991. Stacy graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Fine Arts. She is the Creative Director for Turquoise Magazine published by the Naples Daily News.
Stacy’s design work is published in the Tampa Bay Times, Naples Daily News, Ritz Carlton Magazine, Sarasota Magazine and New York Times. She has won numerous state, national and international design awards. Including two World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers awards for the Tampa Bay Times Newspapers in Education Reading with the Tampa Bay Rays and for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Fit4Allkids. The Fit4Allkids Newspaper in Education program was the only North American publication to receive one of these prestigious awards in 2014.
Stacy’s lacrosse experience began when both of her children started playing in kindergarten and still play to this day for the Sarasota Seahawks. Stacy’s contributions to the Seahawks include marketing director, designing collateral and of course, team mom. Stacy grew up swimming competitively and swam for the Sarasota YMCA Sharks.
Stacy currently designs artwork for the Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation and enjoys using her adverting and design talents to bring awareness to this worthwhile endeavor.
