Alex, a lacrosse coach and mentor, was recovering from stage 4 cancer. CPWLF arranged a Speed Lacrosse community game with lacrosse players of all ages from the Richmond, VA area who were gathered to honor Alex. The Peavey Powell Game unleashed on a brilliant day on November 25, 2017. Parents were invited to play with their children, and lacrosse lovers of all ages blended on the fields to honor their beloved friend, coach and mentor. CPWLF also arranged a relaxing mountain home getaway vacation for the Peavey family to aid in Alex’s recovery process.
