Luke is an incredible 10-year-old goalie in New Orleans who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in May 2019. CPWLF sent Luke several videos from Casey and professional players John Galloway and Joey Sankey, a cancer survivor himself. CPWLF provided an iPad for Luke and iPhones for Luke and his sister Madeleine so the family can stay in touch while Luke undergoes chemotherapy and prepares for a bone marrow transplant. The foundation sent Luke a custom Powell Lacrosse stick signed by Casey and designed in Luke’s favorite colors.

CPWLF Ambassador Josh Rubinstein and family have reached out to Luke and his family to help guide them while CPWLF continues to support Luke and the Bertel family in their journey to recovery.
